Shooter/Fighter Matrix 2(5) DP | October 5-6, 2026 | Fort Honey Badger, Jacksonville, TX

$800.00

Only for those who have been through either “Shooter/Fighter Matrix”, “AKnowledge” or “Fear Inoculum” classes and have experienced the feeling of being deeply violated in 2(5) drill.

This class is for you.

16 hours over 2 days will be dedicated to nothing else but deep decoding of 2(5) drill and everything that it contains.

You’ll have an opportunity to run the entire 2(5) drill in versions V1.0, V1.5, and V2.0, and then break it down into separate, stand-alone sub-drills, addressing geometry, footwork, movement components, exposure, weapon handling, biomechanics of presentation, marksmanship, mindset, physical attributes, and more.

It’s not just a shot-by-shot, step-by-step dissection of our functions- each shot and each step will be broken down into components in order to fine-tune our performance.

While this class will definitely help participants to significantly improve their “scores” in the 2(5) drill, its purpose isn’t gaming the drill in order to score zero penalty points, which is a perfect score for the 2(5) drill.

Every little detail to be addressed will improve students overall performance within fighting realm- movement, use of cover, weapon handling and shooting.

2(5) drill is a definitive “trial by fire” event of live fire training, and this class is a laboratory where every detail is exposed, examined and fine tuned to provide students with clear blueprint of training priorities to take their competence to a new level.

Day 1

  • The big picture- what are YOU working on? Ask yourself: Is it you reacting to or managing the situation? What do you control, and what is the hierarchy of the metrics?
  • 2(5) drill, version 1.0.
  • Pressure: gun in a fight. Projecting pressure.
  • Forward pressure- movement and limiting opponents’ options.
  • How do these 2 interact? Is your gun presentation limiting: movement, directional options, or ability to utilize ballistic or visual cover?
  • Time pressure- once you start entering contested space- organizing structure to accommodate gun in a fight, lethal shots, cadence, transitions, minimizing exposure, etc.
  • Footwork. Organize your fucking feet. Let the feet feet, let the gun gun.
  • Transitioning details. 2 to 1. 1 to 1. 1 to 2. Sliding hand, pistol tilt, pistol float and grip management.

Day 2

  • 2(5) v1.0 “on the other side”. Footwork, timing, transitions.
  • Anxiety in context of buildup of it in training. Training scars. By fear reactivity we become more vulnerable- having directly opposite effect from a stated goal. Rewiring fear.
  • Front section of 2(5). KISS doesn’t quite cut it… don’t be simply stupid when facing complexities of violence.
  • 2(5) v1.5- tighter space restrictions up front and more complex geometry.
  • 2(5) v2.0- the outer limits of ANY institutional training offered to anyone anywhere.
